Come
primo lavoro di falegnameria abbiamo creato un bauletto su progetto dell’insegnante e per farli
abbiamo dovuto usare diverse macchine dell’officina di falegnameria:
Troncatrice;
sega a leme multiple; Pialla a filo; Pialla a spessore; Pialla 4 facce; Levigatrice;
Sega circolare; due tipi di banco fresa; Trapano a colonna; Sega a nastro; Levigatrice
orizzontale e avvitatore.
As a
first carpentry job we created some chest box based on the teacher's project
and to make them we had to use different machines in our carpentry workshop:
miter saw; multiple blade saw; surface planing machine;
thicknesser; weinig planner; wide band sander; sliding table saw; 2 different
type of bottom-spindle milling machines; column drilling machine; ribbon saw;
oscillating edge belt sander and drill.
Ensimmäisenä puusepäntehtävänä teimme rimalaatikon ja niiden tekemiseksi meidän oli käytettävä erilaisia työkaluja
puusepän työsalissa:

secondo lavoro di falegnameria ci ha fatto esercitare con l’incollaggio delle
liste di legno.
Abbiamo
fatto dei taglieri in betulla.
Dopo
la piallatura e levigatura, la lavorazione del primo tagliere è stato fatto interamente
alla macchina cnc, ossia squadratura, solco raccogli gocce e solchi laterali
per facilitare la presa e anche le smussature.
The
second carpentry work made us practice gluing of the wooden slates.
We
made cutting boards out of birch wood.
After
the planing and sanding, the processing of the first cutting board was done
entirely on the cnc machine, i.e. squaring, groove for collecting drops and
lateral grooves to facilitate gripping and also chamfering.
Toisena puusepäntyönä
harjoittelimme puulevyjen liimaamista.
Teimme koivusta leikkuulaudat.

For
the second cutting board, after gluing the first slates we proceeded to cutting

Toisen leikkuulaudan kanssa ensimmäisten puukappaleiden liimaamisen jälkeen jatkoimme
leikkaamista ja liimaamista.

Il
progetto di falegnameria artigianale, consisteva nello sviluppo e produzione di
uno sgabello partendo da un progetto base che ci é stato consegnato
dall’insegnante.
La mia
versione dello sgabello é caratterizzato da un taglio a croce sul sedile e
tagli lundo le fiancate (gambe) con l’aggiunta di due fori asimmetrici che
delineano le gambe stesse. Il tutto unito con tasselli di legno.
I
poggiapiedi li ho messi a due altezze diverse per agevolare la comoditá di
seduta a persone alte e basse.
Tutti
gli elementi aono stati tagliati con macchina cnc e gli spigoli smussati
manualmente con la fresa da banco.
Al
momento di questo sgabello esiste solo il primo prototipo.
The
artisan carpentry project consisted in the development and production of a
stool starting from a basic project that was delivered to us by the teacher.
My
version of the stool is characterized by a cross cut on the seat and cuts along
the sides (legs) with the addition of two asymmetrical holes that outline the
legs themselves. All parts were combined with wooden dowels.
I
placed the footrests at two different heights to facilitate the seating comfort
for both tall and short people.
All
the elements have been cut with a CNC machine and the edges beveled manually
with the bench milling cutter.
At the
time there is only the first prototype of this stool.
Puuartesaani projekti koostui jakkaran suunnittelemisesta
ja valmistamisesta. Projektin lähtökohtana oli opettajan antama tehtävänanto.
Minun jakkaralleni on ominaista istuimen
ristiinleikkaus sekä jalkojen sivuleikkaukset. Jaloissa on kaksi epäsymmetristä
reikää, joiden reunat muodostavat jalat. Kaikki
osat ovat yhdistettyinä puisin tapein.
Asetin jalkatuet kahteen eri korkeuteen helpottaakseni
istuinten mukavuutta pitkille sekä lyhyille ihmisille.
Kaikki elementit on leikattu CNC-koneella ja viisteet reunoihin
manuaalisesti penkkijyrsimellä.
Silloin jakkarasta oli vain ensimmäinen prototyyppi.

I returned to school after the
summer holiday (I spent my holiday doing an internship and working a summerjob).
The first upholstery lesson
was about the types of stitching that an upholsterer usually does.
We therefore created examples
of stitching as a reminder.

The teacher, after giving us the basic instructions, gave us free hands to express ourselves as we wanted. This project involved the use of contact glue and hay for padding.

progetto ci é servito per affrontare la difficoltá della cucitura di spigoli e

cucitura di base tutto gli spigoli del dado hanno una bordatura katesauma
doppia. In oltre abbiamo anche cucito a mano 3 spigoli per la ciususa del
rivestimento.
This
project helped us to deal with the difficulty of stitching edges and small
objects such as the disks sewn on the faces of the nut. In addition to the
basic stitching all the edges of the nut have a double margin seam border. In
addition, we have also sewn three edges by hand for the covering of the cover.
Tämä

Oltre alle

Causa corona virus i corsi sono continuati a distanza da
casa via internet. Ho cosí potuto anticipare eil periodo di tirocinio già a metà maggio.
La sede è in Hollola l’azienda Fasetti.
Il posto di lavoro è stato per me come il paese delle
meraviglie di Alice. Il personale gentile e preparato. Sedie e poltrone di ogni
stile e epoca. Lampadari e candelabri antichi ovunque.
l’idea di un lavoro che si occupa del restauro di tutte queste cose è
elettrizzante.
Immagino che per ragioni che non conosco non c’è stato modo di
poter esercitarmi l´molto nel reparto tappezzeria. Ed è così che oltre a ritappezzare
107 sedili di sedie che non ho nemmeno vito il mio compito lì si è limitato
alla sverniciatura e carteggiagura di sedie e tavoli prevalentemente con design
di Alvar AAlto.
Da questa esperienza ho approfondito un concetto che
conoscevo già per sommi capi: design non è sempre sinonimo di qualità.

The back didn't need major repairs. I added vertical straps
because there were not enough of them and I repaired the top edge by adding a
jute strip that I sewed to the original edge. The padding has remained the
same, probably it is the original manufacturing one. I only added a layer of
